Google Apps in the Classroom
Now that you have had time to process your learning from the Google Training, take a minute to comment on this blog post to share ideas you had during your learning for how you could use your learning in the classroom. Try to follow the format on the example below to make them easy to glance through.
6-12 – After seeing that the new forms has templates, I plan to use them as exit tickets everyday. This will provide me with quick an easy to read and organize information about how well the students were doing with the content allowing me to inform my instruction for the next day.

Google Educator Certification
Get certified as a google educator! Learn all of the (millions?) of ways you can use google in your classroom to engage students, streamline your work flow, and be the most organized and efficient person ever!
The training could take about 14 hours, BUT…there are quite a few lessons that you probably already know the answers to.
Each unit is broken into lessons with explanations, quick quizzes, and a final unit test. When you complete all of the units, you need to register with google for the final test in order to get your badge of completion.

Google Apps for Education is a huge part of our everyday here at Colegio Roosevelt. To help support our students, teachers, and staff, a group of our Digital Coaches will be working towards their Google Educator Certification. They will use their knowledge to develop our schools use of the Google Tools to help us all work more effectively and efficiently.

The team will choose just how far they want to take their training. By February 15th, the team will have all achieved at least their Level 1 Educator status. What they learn will then help them develop the trainings that they will offer to the rest of the community.
