  • better communication between the students and the faculty/administration
  • strive to improve the overall quality of education received by the High School students
  • maintain the rights and privileges made possible by previous student governments
  • endeavor to unite the student body as a cooperative and conscientious whole.

The Student Body Government (SBG) is a student-run, teacher-sponsored, organization whose aim is to voice the opinions and concerns of the student body. The purpose of the SBG is to maintain the rights and privileges made possible by previous student governments and to unite the high school student body as a cooperative and conscientious whole. The SBG Senate consists of four delegates elected from/by each class, while the SBG Cabinet consists of five members elected from/by all grade levels of the High School. Every school year, students of Roosevelt are candidates for positions in this organization and their peers vote for the best candidates.

This web page is created with the hope that students will be informed of all aspects of the SBG in an effort to provide better communication among the High School students, administration and faculty, and to strive to better the overall quality of high school education. Please feel free to e-mail us we are very encouraging to suggestions.
