Green Team

WHO’S THE GREEN TEAM?

The Green Team is a group of teachers, administrators, parents and students who have volunteered to be part of a school-wide effort this year to promote environmental awareness and action. Supporting actions to preserve our environment is part of FColegio Roosevelt’s Core Values and work to date has been completed through individual student and teacher projects as well as through some administrative decisions. During the 2009-10 academic year, the Green Team hopes to institutionalize efforts to respect and care for our environment. The Green Team is very excited to lead this effort to turn our ideas into concrete action and hopes that every member of the Roosevelt community becomes part of this important work.

    Hi All,

Could we go back to having recycling bins in several places? Today I was hoping to recycle several plastic boxes, but they do not fit thought the whole for the plastic bottles. The “cage” is no longer in the Alameda. Where should I take them?
Also, do we recycle glass bottles?
    Thanks for all you’re doing.

I like the fact that the school is recycling therefore making a change in the environment in which we live in. The fact that the school is recycling has only been good news to me. This will make our world become a better place for future generations. Thank you and keep on with the good work!!!!!!!!!
