If your child is diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, please make sure to notify your child’s school principal immediately.

Encourage your children to keep practicing good habits everyday to stay healthy:

Wash hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth to avoid spreading germs.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after use.

The Center for Disease Control has updated their H1N1 flu information and patient care recommendations.

Si su hijo/a es diagnosticado con el virus AH1N1, por favor asegurarse en informar de inmediato a la Directora de su escuela.

Continúe fomentando en sus hijos una buena práctica de higiene para mantenerse sanos:

Lavarse las manos frecuentemente con jabón por 20 segundos. El gel a base de alcohol también es efectivo.
Evitar tocarse los ojos, naríz y boca para disminuir la propagación de gérmenes.
Taparse la naríz y boca con un pañuelo deshechable al toser o estornudar. Deshechar el pañuelo luego de usar.
